With 35 housing sites currently under construction, Knowsley is well on target to reach its aim of creating more than 8,000 new homes by 2028. The aspiration for significant residential growth will not only create the high quality family homes that are in demand in the area but will also contribute significantly to the wider place in the coming years. That includes jobs, investment, council tax income and supply chain opportunities for local businesses.

Knowsley Ambassadors are invited to hear from two of the major players in the market in Knowsley currently – Countryside Properties and Stewart Milne Homes.

Ian Simpson (Land Director at Countryside Properties) and Philip Palmer (Senior Land Manager at Stewart Milne Homes) will share their perspective on Knowsley the place – its appeal to them as investors and to homebuyers. They will also talk about their experience of working here and helping to shape the future of Knowsley.

Importantly for Ambassadors, after the presentations there will be chance to connect with these key players, and others, to find out more about potential business opportunities created by this housing boom. So whilst Knowsley strives to increase the supply and quality of homes, Ambassadors will have the opportunity to make connections and contacts that could directly benefit them and their businesses.

The event will be held at QVC on Knowsley Business Park on Wednesday 23 May. Breakfast and networking will take place from 8am, with presentations starting around 8.45 / 9am. There will be opportunity after the session to meet with Ian and Philip and other developers to explore new business opportunities.

Places at this event are limited and Ambassadors must register in advance to ensure security access to QVC is confirmed ahead of the event. Please register your interest by emailing Paul Morris at paul.morris@knowsley.gov.uk or calling him on 0151 443 5802.
